Our Story

Hi Everyone! Our names are Lesley and Jeff. We are a professional pet-care team dedicated to providing the utmost love and care to your beloved pets in the comfort of their own home! ​After meeting each other, we instantly bonded over our love for animals and decided it was time to follow our dreams doing what we love and officially open PiddlePaws.
Lesley has always had a love for animals and has been around them her entire life. She grew up with Shelties in the family, and she has owned other various dog breeds, including Chihuahuas and mixed breeds. Lesley has worked professionally in a variety of animal care settings over the past 15+ years. She has worked in everything from animal shelters and rescues, to pet hotels, doggy daycare and boarding facilities, veterinary hospitals, and has worked with Seeing Eye dogs. She served as the kennel manager for a veterinary hospital for over 3 years and she also earned a certification from the International Boarding & Pet Services Association (IBPSA) for Premium Pet Care which includes canine, feline, and small animal care.
Jeff has also always loved and been around animals his entire life. In his youth, Jeff would go to AKC shows with his mother, and would love spending time with all the different breeds of dogs there. His family has also always had a variety of pets in their home. He has had all types of pets, from guinea pigs and hamsters, to cats and dogs. Jeff and his family have always been involved in animal rescue as well. They have owned a variety of dog breeds such as mixed breeds, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, Pharaoh Hound, Miniature Pinschers, and Basenjis. Prior to beginning PiddlePaws, Jeff had been working in the medical field for 10 years before he and Lesley met in 2017. It was at that time, he decided to pursue his dream of working with animals too and that is when we began pet sitting together.

We know that you feel the same way about your pets and that is why it has always been a dream of both of ours to one day have our own pet-care company. We know how worrisome it can be having to leave them behind in the care of someone else while you aren't there and that is why we want to be there for you and your pets. We want your pets to have the comforts of their home and you to have peace of mind while you can't be there. You can relax and know that your pets are in the best hands possible being loved and cared for like they were our own. We want to treat your fur babies as our family too, with all the kindness, love, and respect they deserve!
